Passpel is seeking an experienced, self-employed ESOL Tutor to join a fast-paced, high-impact virtual programme starting this March. We are looking for a dedicated and adaptable ESOL Tutor to deliver engaging, student-centred lessons aligned with the Adult ESOL Core Curriculum, from Pre-Entry to Level 2. The successful candidate will support learners in developing practical communication skills across speaking, listening, reading, and writing, enabling them to navigate daily life, employment, and integration with confidence.
The ideal candidate will have experience in differentiated instruction and a genuine passion for supporting learners from diverse cultural backgrounds to achieve their personal and professional goals.
The Schedule:
- Total Hours: 4 hours per week
- Days: Mondays (2 hours) and Fridays (2 hours)
- Format: 100% Online (Zoom or Microsoft Teams)
The Package:
- Rate: £15 per hour
- Status: Self-Employed / Freelance (Contract for Services)
- Impact: Deliver "Survival English" to groups of up to 15 adult refugees and asylum seekers.
Requirements:
- Experience: Must have at least 2 years of ESOL teaching experience.
- Right to Work: Must have the permanent right to work in the UK (Proof required).
- Vetting: Must hold a current Enhanced DBS check.
- Qualifications: CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL, or equivalent.
