The Passivhaus Trust is the UK's leading Passivhaus organisation, a non-profit championing a building standard that delivers exceptionally comfortable, low-energy buildings. We support the construction industry with guidance, training and advocacy, and we're working towards 10% of new UK homes being built to Passivhaus by 2035. A capable team, reliable digital systems and well-run events are how we get there.
The role
You'll be the go-to person for all things tech, and you'll also run the digital side of our events:
- Digital systems and team support: Microsoft 365 administration, accounts and permissions, Zapier automations, user onboarding, CRM (ActiveCampaign) administration and web host and domain management
- Webinars, events and AV: hosting Zoom webinars, speaker tech checks, hybrid and in-person event tech, and working with venues and AV suppliers especially for our big annual conference of 300+ in-person and online attendees
- Digital content: help create digital assets for the website, support complex databases and some video editing
- AI and digital development: helping implement our AI policy, centralised AI tools and team training
About you
Aside from being tech-savvy, you're practical, patient and approachable, with strong troubleshooting and organisational skills. No Passivhaus or built environment knowledge is needed. Professional experience administering WordPress/web hosts, Zoom or Teams, Microsoft 365, automation tools (Zapier), CRMs like ActiveCampaign, event AV or small non-profits is desirable.
The details
- Location: Remote (you must have the legal right to work in the UK), with occasional visits to our London N1 office and event venues
- Hours: Permanent, part-time: the equivalent of 2-3 days a week, ideally spread as part-days across Monday to Friday. We're open to other flexible patterns.
- Deadline: Friday 6 November 2026
