An established UK passive fire protection contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager following the award of a significant new contract and continued investment into a newly created Facilities Management division. The successful candidate will take ownership of the operational and commercial delivery of passive fire protection contracts, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality and compliance standards. The position will be based from the company's southern regional office in Essex with responsibility for projects providing nationwide coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of passive fire protection contracts from mobilisation through to completion
  • Plan, programme and coordinate works to ensure successful project delivery
  • Manage Site Supervisors, direct labour and subcontractors
  • Monitor project budgets, programmes, productivity and commercial performance
  • Identify project risks, variations and potential delivery issues
  • Ensure appropriate labour and subcontractor resources are in place
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety
