Our Mission
The way businesses buy stuff is completely broken. Whether it’s SaaS, hardware, or contractors, the average B2B purchase takes over 3 months, requires 50+ emails, and involves multiple different stakeholders (IT, Legal, InfoSec, Finance, etc.). No one likes the way it is and it’s slowing businesses down. Omnea’s platform handles the entire purchasing process: giving employees an easy place to make requests (Intake), managing the necessary approvals for the purchase to be made (Approvals Engine), and automating all renewals management & supplier risk assessments. Omnea gives both buyers, and finance & procurement leaders critical visibility into how, when, and why money is being spent. Given the current market's increased focus on capital efficiency, there has never been a more vital time for businesses to use Omnea and get control of their spend.
What we're looking for
We are looking for an experienced and exceptional Product Designer to craft and deliver outstanding user experiences. You’ll be taking our product ideas from initial concept and feature scoping through to polished, final designs, and you’ll be joining us at the most exciting possible time.
What Can You Expect?
Shape the User Experience:
Customer-Centric Design: You’ll work closely with our Product, Sales and Customer teams to understand our users’ needs and pain points, often participating in customer calls to gain firsthand insights. This will help you create designs that not only delight users but also drive commercial success.
User-Centered Design: You will quickly develop a deep understanding of our platform and our users, allowing you to make informed design decisions that prioritise ease of use, efficiency, and aesthetic appeal. You’ll also contribute to our design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across our product.
Deliver Outstanding Designs:
Design Scoping: You’ll ensure that every design is well‑scoped with clearly defined requirements. You’ll balance business value with user experience, making thoughtful trade‑offs and clearly communicating your rationale to stakeholders. With a keen eye for good UI, you’ll create interfaces that are not only visually appealing but also intuitive and user‑friendly.
Design Process: For the projects you work on, you’ll own the entire design lifecycle from discovery to delivery, collaborating closely with our Product Design Lead, Product Managers and Engineers to ensure that our features are delivered with high quality.
Align and Collaborate:
Team Alignment: You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure transparency and clarity around our roadmap, both in the short term and with a view to our future vision. You’ll drive alignment across the organisation and ensure accountability for the delivery of our next product iterations. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in evolving and maintaining our design systems, making sure that our design language remains coherent and effective as we scale.
About You
Experience: You have 7-8+ years of experience in product design, specifically in building exceptional B2B SaaS products. You’ve worked across the full stack of design, from scoping and concept development to delivering complex products. While familiarity with our specific market isn’t necessary, you have a strong desire to learn and adapt quickly.
Proven Track Record: You’ve played a key role in creating impressive products, teams, or companies, particularly in high‑caliber, early‑stage environments. You understand that speed of execution is a significant competitive advantage and know how to move quickly while maintaining quality.
Design Intuition: You are highly analytical, data‑informed, and have a strong intuition for design. You can digest customer feedback and empathise with users to guide your design decisions.
Strong Visual Skills: You possess a keen eye for design and the ability to create intuitive, aesthetically pleasing user interfaces. Experience with illustrations and animations is a plus, as these elements can enhance user engagement and bring your designs to life.
Action‑Oriented & Ownership‑Driven: You excel at getting things done and making progress in dynamic environments. You're a strong communicator who enjoys taking ownership and bringing new ideas to life. You balance long‑term vision with attention to detail in your daily work.
Comfortable with Ambiguity: You understand that initial product ideas can be abstract, but you have the ability to bring them to life through thoughtful design and iteration. You’re proactive in involving customers and team members to refine and improve your work.
Ambitious and Entrepreneurial: You’re ambitious, competitive, and passionate about your career. You’re happiest when solving challenging problems and take immense pride in your work. You understand that success requires dedication and are willing to make the necessary sacrifices to achieve it.
