Skills and Competencies
- Commercial experience developing web‑based software applications using modern frameworks
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with experience using Angular
- Experience delivering Software‑as‑a‑Service applications in a cloud environment (Azure preferred)
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles; experience with C#/.NET preferred
- Experience working with version control systems (Git preferred)
- Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across technical and non‑technical teams
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technology discipline preferred
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deliver cloud‑based web applications following agile practices
- Collaborate with product managers and business analysts to refine requirements and deliver effective solutions
- Take ownership of development work across the full software development lifecycle, from specification through delivery
- Work closely with software engineers, financial engineers, testers, quants, and product specialists
- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and adoption of industry best practices
- Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, including AI tools, and their responsible and ethical use

The Insurance Modelling & Analytics team within Moody’s Analytics supports insurers, asset managers, and pension funds in managing actuarial, financial, and risk‑management activities. The team develops modelling, software, and consultancy solutions that evolve in response to market needs and customer feedback, with a strong focus on quality, collaboration, and customer engagement.
