We’re looking for an experienced, certified Clinical Safety Officer (2+ years acting as a CSO) to join us as a Clinical Safety Specialist. You’ll deliver clinical safety and CSO services to our amazing customers alongside our in-house clinical safety team, help shape our product, and build your profile as a thought leader in clinical safety!

Location: Shoreditch, London (3-4 days per week in office)

Salary: Competitive (£50,000 to £70,000) commensurate with experience + Equity

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Clinical Safety Specialist to deliver clinical safety and CSO services to our customers, feed frontline learnings into our product, and help establish Assuric as the home of clinical safety expertise. You’ll work alongside Paul (CEO) and Felix, delivering clinical safety work across a wide range of healthtech and NHS customers, from AI scribes and AI receptionists to novel SaMD and AIaMD products. We're a small team, so adaptability, autonomy, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves are essential.

What you’ll do:

  • Clinical safety (CSO) work: provide clinical safety support and CSO services to Assuric customers.
  • Clinical safety delivery: utilise the Assuric platform to put together key safety deliverables (across DCB0129 and DCB0160).
  • Product development: use feedback and learnings from customer conversations and clinical safety projects to help shape product development.
  • Thought leadership: build your (and Assuric’s) profile as a leading voice in clinical safety.
  • Business development: opportunity to support NHS and healthtech business development.

We’d love to hear from you if you…

  • Have completed Digital Clinical Safety Practitioner training.
  • Have at least 2 years’ experience acting as a Clinical Safety Officer.
  • Are a registered clinician with current registration.
  • Are an excellent communicator, confident engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Are excited to move into a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Are highly organised and self-motivated, with sharp attention to detail.
  • Are confident using AI and automation tools.

Bonus points if you…

  • Have experience across delivery of both DCB0129 and DCB0160 safety cases.
  • Have experience in Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) and AI as a Medical Device (AIaMD).
