Location: New Forest, UK (Hybrid: 2-3 days / week at HQ)

Duration: 12 months fixed-term contract (maternity cover)

Role Purpose

As our Ecommerce Manager, you will be the cross‑functional glue to ensure our digital storefront is optimised for every Roamer who visits our site - whether in the UK, Germany, France or ROW. Each Roamer will enjoy a seamless and inspiring shopping experience.

Direct Reports: Marketplace Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Trading & Visual Merchandising
  • Performance ownership: monitor and exception report on the daily commercial performance of the global websites, tracking category and product performance, including Gross Sales, ASP, Add to cart and collection performance web metrics.
  • Product knowledge: understand each product’s place in the range, attend CAD review meetings, and organise separate meetings with the product team if necessary.
  • Customer knowledge: be clear on the customer in each Geo and that their experience on site matches their needs.
  • Product content: set the standards, aligned with the category plans, of the content requirements to sell the product effectively in the Ecommerce channel; work with internal teams to ensure these standards are met, creating and maintaining a prioritised backlog of outstanding items.
  • Campaign execution: lead the execution of the global promotional calendar, ensuring site‑wide updates for product launches, seasonal sales, and brand storytelling (e.g., Green Friday/Cyber Monday), including the selection of products for mailers and other external amplification.
  • Ecom owner of the Category Plans: ensure execution of the focus categories – as planned, monitoring performance against KPIs set for the category, reporting and taking action to make changes to the original plan where necessary, and liaising with the Merchandising team to gather information about sales and stock versus the sales and stock plan.
  • Visual merchandising: lead and oversee the sort order and look of the collection pages, ensuring they change with the execution of the promotional calendar, and manage and nurture the visual merchandiser.
  • Returns insights and actions: monitor exceptional returns items and take remediable action; work with CS and QC to understand and take action on relevant products, ensuring Merchandising is aware of relevant styles.
  • Website navigation: oversee and localise the website's mega‑nav, ensuring collections and sub‑collections are accurately displayed across all devices (mobile and desktop) to optimise the user journey.
  • Website product categorisation & filtering: ensure products are being displayed in relevant collections and sub‑collections using Air Table and Shopify, and oversee, manage and localise filters of product collections and sub‑collections.
  • Marketing: liaise with the Brand team to guide and approve product selection for all email campaigns and performance marketing ads, and manage and maintain the Ecom GTM calendar in Air Table.
  • AI: be AI curious, embrace and lean on Claude to process data to implement and optimise findings.
