We’re looking for an experienced and driven Operations Manager to lead our day-to-day transport operations. This is a key leadership role where you’ll ensure safe, compliant, and efficient services while driving performance, customer satisfaction, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Transport Manager, ensuring full legal and regulatory compliance
- Oversee daily bus and coach operations, maintaining high standards of reliability and service
- Manage operational performance across contracts and identify improvement opportunities
- Lead, develop, and support operational teams to deliver strong results
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders, customers, and union representatives
- Monitor performance, manage budgets, and drive efficiencies
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, driver hours, and company policies
About You
- You will be a confident, proactive leader with strong operational experience and a passion for delivering high-quality service.
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience in transport/operations management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Commercial awareness with the ability to analyse data and improve performance
- PCV licence
- Experience working with unions or fleet/engineering teams
