We’re looking for an experienced and driven Operations Manager to lead our day-to-day transport operations. This is a key leadership role where you’ll ensure safe, compliant, and efficient services while driving performance, customer satisfaction, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as Transport Manager, ensuring full legal and regulatory compliance
  • Oversee daily bus and coach operations, maintaining high standards of reliability and service
  • Manage operational performance across contracts and identify improvement opportunities
  • Lead, develop, and support operational teams to deliver strong results
  • Build effective relationships with stakeholders, customers, and union representatives
  • Monitor performance, manage budgets, and drive efficiencies
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, driver hours, and company policies

About You

  • You will be a confident, proactive leader with strong operational experience and a passion for delivering high-quality service.
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience in transport/operations management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to analyse data and improve performance
  • PCV licence
  • Experience working with unions or fleet/engineering teams
