High Voltage Authorising Engineer Instructor / Consultant
Full Time or part‑time consultant role at PASS training centre in Stockton on Tees (TS18 2BQ). Regular UK travel and some overseas travel may be required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high voltage authorising engineer and associated training courses – both in the centre and on‑site at industry sites.
- Complete all training paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Respond to delegate enquiries and provide support throughout the training programme.
Course Portfolio
- Senior Authorised Person (SAP)
- Authorised Person (AP)
- Sanction for Test Authorisation
- Practical Intro to the Safe Operation of HV & LV Switchgear up to 15 kV
- Dielectric Strength Testing (Pressure Testing)
- Earth Electrode Testing
- Cable Spiking and Cable Identification
- Wind Turbine (SAP)
- Safe Access to HV Substations and Switchrooms
- Marine and Offshore (SAP & AP)
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years\’ experience in delivering high voltage and authorised person associated training courses.
Working Hours
37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday.
Remuneration
Negotiable per annum or consultancy basis. Christmas bonus scheme.
