At Pasquill, we are looking for a CAD Technician to join our specialist team, helping to deliver high-quality solutions for customers across the UK. You'll join a design team focused exclusively on Pasquill - Roofspace projects, working alongside experienced designers who are passionate about delivering high-quality solutions for our customers. Whether you're currently working within engineered timber, timber frame, steel frame, construction design, or a similar technical environment, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career with an industry-leading business.
This is a full-time, office-based position and the successful candidate can be based from either our Chorley or Coventry office.
What we're looking for:
- Previous CAD experience is essential.
- Experience within timber engineering, timber frame, steel frame, construction design, or a similar building-related environment.
- Strong spatial awareness and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
What you will be doing:
- Producing accurate manufacturing and installation drawings for Pasquill - Roofspace projects.
- Working with customers and design teams to gain approval of designs before manufacturing.
- Managing your own portfolio of customer projects and ensuring designs are delivered within agreed timescales.
- Resolving technical queries and providing excellent customer service throughout the design process.
- Supporting continuous improvement by maintaining high design quality standards and identifying opportunities to enhance customer solutions.
