Your role
Working 35-40 hours per week- term time only, you will help provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for our children, supporting their learning and development through engaging experiences and play.
Responsibilities will include observing and supporting children's individual needs, building positive relationships with parents and carers. maintaining accurate records, following safeguarding procedures and working closely with the team to maintain our high standards.
We're looking for someone who is caring, reliable, enthusiastic and passionate about early years, with a commitment to providing high-quality care and education.
Requirements
Proven experience working with young children within a childcare or nursery setting
Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and child development stages
Excellent communication skills in, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members
Ability to work proactively as part of a team while also taking initiative independently
Valid childcare or nursery qualification (e.g., Level 3 Early Years Educator or equivalent)
Passionate about providing high-quality care and committed to continuous professional development
Strong safeguarding knowledge and understanding of your responsibilities.
Paediatric first aid, or willingness to complete this
