We are looking for a Technical Sales Estimator to join our growing engineering business. Partwell is a busy family business established for over 45 years. This developing role combines customer interaction, engineering understanding, and commercial decision-making.
You will be responsible for reviewing customer enquiries, assessing manufacturability, and producing accurate quotations for machined plastic components. If you enjoy working with customers, solving problems, and being part of a team that delivers high-quality engineered solutions, this could be a great fit. The role is sales office based working with colleagues experienced in managing customer relationships and service.
Key Responsibilities- Manage incoming customer enquiries and build strong relationships
- Review engineering drawings and specifications
- Assess manufacturability in collaboration with our workshop team
- Prepare accurate costings and quotations
- Follow up quotations to convert enquiries into orders
- Ensure smooth handover of work into production
- Contribute to improving estimating systems and processes
- Essential: Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
