About Us: An exciting opportunity awaits you at Partou UK, a proud member of the global Partou group, where we are shaping the future of childcare. As the 4th largest childcare provider in England, and with over 1,000 nurseries worldwide, we care for more than 75,000 children with the support of our 11,000+ dedicated team members. Our commitment to quality and growth continues to strengthen our position as a leader in the UK's childcare sector.

Why This Role Matters: As an Area Manager, you will play a critical role in our Operational Leadership Team, overseeing a group of nurseries across the North West. Your leadership will be essential in ensuring that our nurseries meet the highest standards of care, safety, and education, while also achieving financial goals and maintaining regulatory compliance.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Overseeing the management of several nurseries within the North West, ensuring that each location delivers quality care and remains financially viable.
  • Providing guidance and support to nursery managers and their teams, helping them achieve their best and maintain high standards of early childhood education.
  • Ensuring that all nurseries within your area maintain "Ofsted – Good" or higher ratings, and driving continuous improvement across all settings.
  • Ensuring full compliance with all policies and upholding the highest safety standards across your nurseries.
  • Creating a positive culture that values staff, supports their development, and builds strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Overseeing financial performance, maximising revenue, and controlling expenses to ensure the financial health of each nursery.

What Success Looks Like: Success in this role means leading a team of well-supported, skilled staff who are committed to providing the highest quality of care. You will ensure that all nurseries under your management perform at high levels, consistently achieving "Good" or better Ofsted ratings. Full compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies will be maintained, and you will ensure that nurseries are clean, safe, and offer inspiring learning environments. Meeting or exceeding targets for occupancy rates and cost efficiency will also be a key measure of your success.

What It Takes:

  • A minimum Level 3 Qualification in Children and Education (a Degree in Early Childcare is preferred).
  • Extensive senior management experience in a multi-setting childcare context.
  • Proven ability in staff leadership, service planning, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong commercial awareness and exceptional leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant industry software.
