Partomer is a fast-growing Microsoft Dynamics 365 partner based in the North West. We’re built differently from traditional ERP consultancies. Our mission is to change how ERP is delivered—moving away from large-scale, impersonal IT delivery models towards a boutique, hands-on approach that prioritises quality, accountability, and real client outcomes.

We believe the industry has drifted too far into high-utilisation models that often compromise project success. At Partomer, we do the opposite. We focus on delivering exceptional work through smaller, highly experienced teams that stay close to the client and the solution.

Our team is made up exclusively of senior consultants, bringing deep expertise and practical experience to every engagement. We’re intentionally small by design, with a structure that allows us to maintain that quality, agility, and personal touch as we grow.

You’ll be joining one of our small, agile delivery pods. As a consultant, you’ll play a leading role within your pod, taking ownership of consultancy and helping shape successful client outcomes. Each pod is intentionally lean, typically made up of a Developer / Technical Specialist. Together, your pod operates with a high degree of autonomy, with clear responsibility for delivery, quality, and ultimately client success.

This structure allows for faster decision-making, closer collaboration, and a stronger sense of ownership across the team. Every pod works independently, managing its own projects and building long-term relationships with its customers. While autonomous, all pods are aligned around the core values that define Partomer—ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience across everything we deliver.

Due to our unique team structure, we’re looking for someone who is hands-on, proactive, and excited to get involved across all aspects of client delivery and experience. This isn’t a role where you’ll be confined to a single phase of a project—you’ll be embedded in the full journey.

At Partomer, there are no rigid or unrealistic utilisation targets. Instead, we build teams that are motivated by outcomes, quality, and doing the right thing for the client.

As an experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer, you’ll take a leading role within your delivery pod, working closely with both clients and your consultancy counterpart. You’ll be involved across the entire project lifecycle, including:

  • Discovery Workshops
  • Configuration and delivery
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Training and user adoption
  • Go-live and beyond

You’ll have the opportunity to shape solutions end-to-end, build strong client relationships, and take real ownership of the work you deliver, seeing the direct impact of your efforts on client success.

We recognise the importance of flexible and remote working. Partomer operates a primarily remote model, giving you the flexibility to work from home while staying connected to your team and clients. We have an office in Bolton, which you’ll be expected to visit periodically for team collaboration and key sessions (frequency to be agreed). While remote working is the norm, this role does involve regular travel to client sites, as we believe strong on-site engagement is key to building relationships and delivering successful outcomes.

Our client base is primarily across the Northwest and Yorkshire, although there may be occasions where travel further afield is required. All reasonable travel expenses will be covered in line with company policy. As part of the role, you must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a car.

We are looking for a skilled, multi-disciplinary developer who can work within a range of technologies centring around Dynamics 365 Business Central. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex integration challenges, and can work across the full technology stack.

You should be personable and able to talk technology to clients and stakeholders at the appropriate level, with a strong aptitude for solution design and problem solving.

Personal Attributes

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of solutions
  • Comfortable working across multiple technologies and domains
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Passion for learning and staying up to date with emerging technologies

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Solid experience with .NET technologies (C#, .NET Core / .NET 6+)
  • HTML, CSS, and web APIs
  • Strong experience building and consuming REST APIs
  • Experience with system integration and middleware concepts
  • Understanding of SQL databases and data structures
  • Experience working with source control (Git) and modern development workflows
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines
  • Modern web frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, or Vue)
  • Experience integrating with Shopify, EDI systems, or other eCommerce platforms
  • Knowledge of Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, etc.)
  • Experience with third-party Business Central apps and extensions
  • Exposure to other programming languages or platforms outside the Microsoft stack

What We Offer

  • Unlimited annual leave – we trust our team to manage their time responsibly, focusing on outcomes rather than hours
  • A competitive salary, dependent on experience
  • A genuinely flexible, remote-first working model
  • The opportunity to work in a small, highly experienced team where your voice is heard and your impact is visible
  • Real ownership of your work, clients, and outcomes — no being lost in large delivery teams
  • A low-bureaucracy environment where decisions are made quickly and pragmatically
  • Investment in your personal and professional development, including certifications and training
  • The chance to shape how ERP is delivered, not just follow a predefined model
  • Exposure to a wide variety of projects, industries, and challenges
  • A collaborative, supportive culture built around quality, trust, and accountability

Our Selection Process

We aim to keep our hiring process straightforward, transparent, and respectful of your time. Our typical process includes:

  • An initial informal conversation to get to know you, your experience, and what you’re looking for
  • A more in-depth in-person discussion focused on your approach to delivery, problem-solving, and Business Central experience
  • A final stage conversation where you’ll meet other members of the team and explore how you would fit within one of our delivery pods

We’re less interested in rigid interviews and more focused on understanding how you think, how you work, and how you approach real-world challenges. There are no unnecessary stages or lengthy processes, just honest conversations to ensure the right fit on both sides.
