We are recruiting for an experienced Data Engineer to support a large-scale data and analytics programme. You will develop the data structures, pipelines and processes required to deliver reliable and reusable datasets for reporting and analysis.
This is an initial 12-month fixed-term contract with a strong likelihood of extension.
What you will be doing:
- Design and maintain scalable data models and reusable datasets
- Build automated ETL/ELT pipelines across multiple source systems
- Integrate new data sources into the existing data landscape
- Monitor pipelines and resolve data-quality issues
- Implement data validation and reconciliation processes
- Translate reporting requirements into practical data solutions
- Maintain documentation covering data structures, transformations and lineage
- Improve automation, reliability and efficiency across data processes
What we're looking for:
- Advanced SQL and data-modelling skills
- Experience with ETL/ELT and analytical databases
- Good understanding of data quality and governance
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
Experience with SAP, SAP Business Data Cloud, BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, Python or cloud data platforms would be advantageous.
