We are recruiting an experienced IT Commercial Director to join a leading FTSE organisation. Reporting directly to the CIO and working as part of the IT leadership team, you will lead commercial strategy, supplier relationships and contract performance across a complex IT supplier portfolio.
This is a senior leadership role focused on maximising commercial value, strengthening supplier governance and driving continuous improvement.
What you will be doing:
- Lead the IT commercial, supplier management and sourcing strategy
- Manage senior relationships with strategic IT suppliers and outsourced service providers
- Lead complex commercial and contract negotiations
- Drive cost efficiencies while protecting service quality and long term value
- Oversee supplier performance, contract compliance and commercial governance
- Provide commercial expertise across IT projects and contractual changes
- Identify and mitigate commercial, contractual and supplier risks
- Build collaborative partnerships that deliver measurable service improvements
What we're looking for:
- Significant senior level experience in IT supplier or commercial management
- Experience operating within a complex, multi-vendor environment xgikmsk
- A strong background managing outsourced IT services and technology providers
- Proven experience developing commercial, governance and supplier performance frameworks
- A demonstrable track record of delivering sustainable cost savings
- Excellent commercial negotiation and stakeholder-management skills
- The confidence to influence c-level stakeholders and supplier leadership teams
