Due to continued growth and contract wins, we are recruiting for experienced Warehouse Operators with a Reach Forklift licence for our client’s manufacturing facility in Irvine. This role is perfect for someone who thrives under pressure and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, where meeting tight deadlines is part of the challenge and the reward. Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Warehouse operations in line with all standard operating procedures.
- Ensure all operating areas and equipment are maintained to the required levels of GMP and cleanliness.
- Ensure product complies with all quality requirements.
- Ensure material is being delivered to production on time as per plan.
- Control all inwards/outwards deliveries.
- Ensure all health, safety and environmental standards are maintained.
- Ensuring that reporting staff fulfil daily responsibilities.
- H&S requirement of equipment and PPE are being adhered to.
- Daily paperwork is completed to the required standard for integrity.
- Ensuring that reporting staff are trained to appropriate standards and manage the development plans for each reporting team member.
- Prepare and manage SOPs for the Warehouse areas.
- Monitor and report logistics status vs plan requirements.
- Support departmental KPI measuring.
- Support the design and development of equipment, processes, and procedures to ensure that they are designed to meet GMP, H&S standards.
- Prepare and manage risk assessments of the logistics areas.
Key Requirements
- Have at least 3 years of warehouse Supervisory experience.
- Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
- Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
- Valid forklift licence.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Outstanding leadership, organisational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong people skills.
