SRS Partnership is partnering with a leading and well-established manufacturing company in Irvine, renowned for its commitment to high-quality production standards. As they continue to grow, they are looking for a professional and dedicated Production Shift Leader to join their management team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a successful operation while supporting the development and success of a dynamic production team.

Position Overview: You will be responsible for leading, managing, and developing a team of production staff. Your primary focus will be ensuring the smooth operation of the production process during your shift, overseeing the efficient manufacturing of products, and maintaining high safety and quality standards. You will collaborate closely with the Production Supervisor to achieve production targets and implement continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a shift team to achieve production and output targets/KPIs on a daily basis.
  • Set, monitor, and evaluate weekly targets and objectives for the shift.
  • Promote and drive continuous improvements in quality, safety, and productivity.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and conformance to 5S principles.
  • Promote safe working practices.
  • Support the Production Supervisor and cover their responsibilities as needed.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma qualification and/or practical experience required.
  • Experience with continuous process production lines is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to set clear objectives, motivate teams, and achieve operational goals.
  • A solid understanding of 5S principles and how they contribute to safety and efficiency in the workplace.
