We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to join their team at their facility in Prestwick where you will play a critical role in ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently and in full compliance supporting ongoing repair and overhaul activity.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day facilities operations across the site
- Plan and coordinate planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Manage contractors and suppliers ensuring work is delivered safely on time and within budget
- Ensure compliance with all environmental health & safety regulations
- Conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments (e.g. fire systems, HVAC, water hygiene, asbestos)
- Act as the main point of contact for all facilities-related matters
- Manage site services including security, cleaning, waste and general upkeep
- Support project work, including layout changes and space utilisation
- Monitor environmental performance (energy, waste, etc.) and drive improvements
- Respond to any site or facilities-related incidents or emergencies
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is preferred
- Strong knowledge of building services (electrical, HVAC, plumbing)
- Experience managing contractors and external suppliers
- Good understanding of EHS and statutory compliance
- Hands-on, proactive approach with strong problem-solving ability
- Comfortable managing a varied and fast-paced workload
