We are currently looking for experienced CNC Machinists (Millers or Turners) to join the existing team at our clients Prestwick facility. You will join an employee-owned company offering competitive pay, excellent benefits and long-term career security where you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC machinery to manufacture high-precision components.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, set and operate CNC milling or turning machines
- Work confidently with Fanuc controls
- Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings
- Conduct quality checks to ensure components meet specification
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
- Work effectively within a rotating shift pattern
- Follow all health, safety, and quality procedures
Candidate Requirements
- Time-served CNC Machinist apprenticeship
- Minimum 2 years' post-apprenticeship CNC machining experience
- Strong CNC programming and machine setting experience
- Proficient in Fanuc control systems
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Reliable, flexible and able to work rotating shifts
Working Hours - 37 hours per week
Week 1
- Monday – Thursday: 6am – 2pm
- Friday: 6am – 11am
Week 2
- Monday – Thursday: 2pm – 10pm
- Friday: 11am – 4pm
