Due to continued growth we have an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's established engineering team at their facility in Paisley. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking to move into a Monday-Friday dayshift role, offering a fantastic work-life balance with no weekend or shift work. As part of the engineering team, you will play a key role in maintaining plant reliability, minimising downtime and supporting continuous production through effective fault finding and preventative maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults quickly and efficiently to minimise production downtime.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities across site equipment.
- Support the ordering and management of engineering spare parts.
- Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems and associated equipment.
- Work collaboratively with the wider engineering and production teams.
- Promote and adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in an Electrical Maintenance Engineer position.
- A strong electrical maintenance background within a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience working within the FMCG sector.
