Partnership Recruiting is currently seeking experienced Maintenance Fitters on behalf of a well-established manufacturing client in East Lothian. We are looking for hands-on professionals with a strong mechanical background, proven fault-finding ability, and a proactive approach to maintenance in a high-output environment. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified fitter with experience in heavy industry, capable of working independently on shift and contributing to a collaborative, safety-focused maintenance team. Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to reduce downtime and support production continuity.
- Diagnose faults, repair and replace defective mechanical components.

- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintenance team meetings.

- Fully qualified mechanical fitter (relevant certification essential).
- Experience working in a heavy mechanical or industrial environment is required.
