We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join our client’s manufacturing business where you will be based at their East Lothian facility. Due to the location of the site it is essential you have access to your own transport. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative and supportive team, where you’ll play a key role in delivering people-focused HR solutions while continuing to develop your career within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The Role

As HR Advisor, you will provide comprehensive HR support across the site, partnering with managers and employees to deliver an exceptional employee experience throughout the full employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, working closely with hiring managers to attract and secure top talent.
  • Coordinate and continuously improve the company induction programme, collaborating with HR and operational teams to ensure an effective onboarding experience.
  • Support onboarding activities, probation reviews, and annual performance review processes.
  • Coordinate on-the-job training initiatives and support the development of a multi-skilled workforce.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on key HR metrics, including attendance, probationary reviews, performance management, and employee engagement.
  • Provide guidance and support on performance management matters, including attendance management.
