We’re currently recruiting for a hands-on Maintenance Handyman to support the day-to-day upkeep of a busy hotel and holiday park environment. This is a practical, active role suited to someone who enjoys getting stuck in — you’ll be expected to roll your sleeves up, get your hands dirty, and take ownership of a wide range of maintenance tasks across the site. There is consistent overtime available, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to maximise their earnings.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general maintenance tasks including basic plumbing, joinery, painting, and minor electrical work
- Service and maintain hot tubs daily in line with safety standards
- Respond quickly and effectively to maintenance requests
- Conduct regular inspections of accommodation units and communal areas
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimise issues and downtime
- Assist with outdoor and seasonal tasks such as groundskeeping and unit preparation
- Work closely with management to prioritise and complete tasks efficiently
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with health & safety regulations
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a maintenance, trades, or similar hands-on role
- A strong all-round skillset across general repairs and upkeep
- Someone proactive, reliable, and comfortable working independently
- A practical problem-solver with good attention to detail
- Friendly and professional when interacting with guests and colleagues
- Flexible with working hours, including occasional weekends
- Full UK driving licence
