An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Engineering Manager to join a well-established and growing manufacturing operation. Reporting to senior leadership, you will take responsibility for leading site engineering, maintenance operations, team performance, safety standards and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility. This role would suit a hands-on leader with strong people management capability, a proactive approach to operational performance and a focus on driving reliability, efficiency and best practice across site operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage engineering and maintenance teams to ensure safe and efficient site operations
  • Coordinate labour and resources to maximise operational uptime and productivity
  • Ensure all health & safety procedures, permit systems, and safe working practices are fully implemented
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance strategies to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, cost reduction, and performance optimisation
  • Work closely with internal teams to prioritise maintenance activities and support operational targets
  • Ensure all plant, equipment, and site assets are maintained to a high operational standard
  • Monitor team performance, provide coaching and development support, and conduct performance reviews where required
