Are you looking for a role where you will be recognised? I’m currently recruiting for a Production Co-Ordinator/Scheduler to join a leading manufacturing business in Irvine. Reporting directly to the Production Manager you will play a pivotal role in the planning, coordination and delivery of manufactured products. This is a key position within the operation, ensuring production schedules and delivery programmes run efficiently, accurately and in line with customer expectations.

Delivery Programme Management

  • Manage and update weekly and daily haulage programmes
  • Coordinate manufacturing activities across production lines
  • Ensure all works orders are prepared and checked accurately
  • Maintain and update the live manufacturing schedule
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to communicate progress and resolve issues
  • Dispatch production orders, ensuring completed loads meet quality standards

System & Planning Oversight

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for the internal production planning system
  • Load job orders and ensure system priorities align with manufacturing requirements
  • Implement system updates and continuous improvements
  • Coordinate production planning activities across automated manufacturing lines
  • Ensure all compliance and documentation is issued with dispatched loads

Deviation & Continuous Improvement

  • Investigate production deviations and conduct root cause analysis
  • Implement effective corrective and preventative actions
  • Carry out trend analysis to identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities
  • Train and coach production teams on improvement initiatives

About You

  • Experience within production coordination or production planning
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Comfortable working with production planning or ERP systems
