We are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our client’s established industrial facility in Invergordon.
This is a varied role where no 2 days are the same.
You’ll work across a wide range of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, carrying out everything from planned preventative maintenance through to fault finding, repairs and breakdown response.

- Working Pattern
- The role operates on a 4-week rotating pattern, working 12-hour shifts:
- Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday Day Shift – 6:45am to 6:45pm
- Week 2 Wednesday & Thursday Day Shift – 6:45am to 6:45pm
- Week 3 Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday Night Shift – 6:45pm to 6:45am
- Week 4 Wednesday & Thursday Night Shift – 6:45pm to 6:45am

The Role
- Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance across mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs to minimise production downtime.
- Repairing, rebuilding and maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Maintaining and repairing pumps, gearboxes, bearings, belts and chains.
- Carrying out welding, cutting and grinding activities where required.
- Supporting machinery and equipment installations, modifications and improvements.
- Responding to breakdowns and technical issues in a safe and effective manner.
- Identifying potential issues before they become major problems.
- Working alongside Production colleagues to maximise plant availability and operational efficiency.
- Contributing to maintenance meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Following all relevant risk assessments, permits to work and safe systems of work
