We are recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing facility in the East Lothian area. This is a hands-on role within the site maintenance team, focused on minimising downtime, supporting production, and maintaining plant equipment to a high standard.
- Electrical maintenance on manufacturing and plant equipment
- Fault finding on motors, drives, control panels, and automation systems
- Responding to breakdowns to keep production running
- Supporting planned preventative maintenance schedules
- Working on shutdowns, overhauls, and improvement projects
- Using maintenance systems to record work completed
- Working closely with mechanical engineers and production staff
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures

- Qualified Electrician / Electrical Engineer
- 18th Edition
- Experience in manufacturing, production, FMCG, timber, heavy industry, or similar environment
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

- Used to working in a fast-paced plant environment
- Able to work as part of a maintenance team
- Reliable, practical, and safety-focused
