We are looking for an ambitious and technically minded trainee to join a leading engineering business in Glasgow. Reporting to the Director, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a technical qualification (HND or equivalent) and an interest in sales and business development to develop their career.
What You’ll Do:
- Support sales growth by identifying new opportunities and engaging with customers
- Assist with marketing, social media and website campaigns
- Help analyse markets and supplier options to improve competitiveness
- Learn to interpret and create technical drawings
- Provide technical support to ensure correct specification of products
- Prepare accurate quotations and contribute to product development
About You:
- HND or equivalent in engineering, mechanical, chemical, or physics-based subjects
- Strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Analytical, logical and numerate mindset
- Highly organised with good time management
- Enthusiastic to learn, develop skills and grow in a technical-commercial role
