Partnership Recruiting are currently looking for an Estimator for a leading engineering business in North Ayrshire where you will be responsible for preparing accurate quotes from customer drawings and managing jobs through the production process.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret customer drawings
- Modify/edit drawings using AutoCAD for quoting purposes
- Use nesting software (e.g. SigmaNest) to calculate materials and run times
- Collate all associated costs and prepare formal quotations
- Liaise with customers throughout the quoting and order process
- Manage jobs through production following order placement
Requirements
- CAD experience (AutoCAD essential)
- Background within engineering/manufacturing
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office etc.)
- Good attention to detail and commercial awareness
Desirable
- Experience within profile cutting or laser cutting
- Familiarity with SigmaNest or similar nesting software
What’s on Offer
