Partnership Recruiting are looking for a motivated and dynamic Account Manager to join the existing sales team at our client’s South Ayrshire manufacturing facility. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the company's continued growth and investment, playing a key role in developing existing customer relationships and driving new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management: Take ownership of a portfolio of existing customers, focusing on maintaining relationships and driving repeat business through proactive sales calls.
- Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the wider sales team to meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the department.
- CRM Management: Accurately record and update all relevant market and customer information within the CRM system to track progress and support decision-making.
- Production Coordination: Work in tandem with the production department to ensure customer orders are processed efficiently and deadlines are met.
- Customer Support: Address and resolve customer queries and issues promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
About You
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an internal sales or account management role, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Drive: Highly motivated with a strong desire to upsell and develop new business opportunities.
- Resilience: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and work well under pressure.
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport and engage customers effectively.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of ERP systems for order processing is an advantage, but not essential.
