We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Treatment Room Nurse to join our friendly and supportive GP practice team. This is an excellent opportunity for a registered nurse looking to develop their skills within a busy primary care environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, undertaking a range of treatment room duties including wound care, immunisations, cervical cytology and health promotion. You will work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care for our patient population.
Main duties of the job:
- Deliver a range of treatment room services including dressings, injections, vaccinations, cervical cytology and ECGs
- Support the delivery of national and local immunisation programmes
- Provide health promotion and lifestyle advice to patients
- Maintain accurate clinical records using SystmOne
- Work within infection prevention and control guidelines
- Work collaboratively as part of the practice team
