Senior Software Project Manager Oxfordshire | Hybrid, one day a week in the office | Permanent £60,000 to £70,000 plus corporate benefits An established, Agile software house is hiring its first dedicated Senior Project Manager to lead a major, business-critical programme: replacing a legacy ERP with a modern enterprise platform for one of their largest customers. It is a long-running, incremental build, and the person who takes it on will own it from planning through to go-live, then go on to shape project delivery across the whole business. This is a real blank canvas. The company has grown quickly and delivered well, but has never had a dedicated PM, so you would look at how things run today, put the right governance, controls, reporting and process in place, and set the standard for how delivery works. You would work from within the software development team, leading the SDLC and protecting the sprint cycle, while holding the longer-term plan together, reconciling two-weekly Agile delivery with a multi-year roadmap and realistic estimates. You will need the credibility to influence and, when needed, push back, both internally and with senior stakeholders on the customer side.
