About us

With us, you’ll never be just a number; you’ll be part of a close-knit team that genuinely cares about the people we support, and each other. Since 2008, Partners in Support has provided supported living services across Hertfordshire. We’re proud to be a local, values-led organisation that puts people before growth. We believe in dignity, respect, compassion, and partnership, supporting people to live the lives they choose in their own homes and communities.

About the role

As a Support Worker, you’ll provide emotional and practical support to adults with learning disabilities and autism, helping them to live life their way. You’ll support people to build confidence, develop independence, learn new skills, access their community by taking part in activities, and do the things that matter most to them. No two days are the same, so if you enjoy variety and want a rewarding role where you can make a real difference, this could be the perfect opportunity. We’re committed to supporting our colleagues through regular check-ins, supervision, training, and ongoing communication, so you’ll feel supported both personally and professionally. No previous social care experience is required, as full training will be provided.

  • Kind, respectful, and patient approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Confidence to remain calm in difficult situations
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins on a rota
  • Full UK manual driving licence required for the vacancy in Watford. You do not need to be a driver for the vacancy in St Albans.
