We are currently recruiting for part-time permanent (up to 22.5 hours per week) Support Workers to support adults with learning disabilities and autism in a supported living environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in understanding and supporting the individuals you work with.
  • This includes providing both emotional and practical support to help them live their lives their way.
  • No experience is required; just a commitment to empower people to achieve independence and develop life skills.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Social Care experience is not necessary, but it is desirable.
  • A commitment to empowering people.
  • Ability to work closely with families and outside agencies.
  • Ability to take responsibility and remain calm in difficult situations.
  • Willing to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, bank holidays, and sleep-ins.
  • Must have a full UK Manual driving license.
  • Under the Equality Act of 2010, this role is only available for female applicants.
