This Business Development Executive Assistant role requires maturity and experience working with senior management team members. You will be a good influencer, professional and comfortable liaising with a diverse range of people including prospective and current clients and their EAs. This role will suit a proactive individual with an ability to work autonomously as well as in a team. The successful candidate should have a desire to work closely with their Director(s) / Principal(s) to develop the business and embrace the challenge of establishing relationships and setting up meetings with new clients.
They should have exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to prioritise, problem-solve as well as have attention to detail and a strong customer service attitude. Managing diaries to align with clients’ busy schedules will require diplomacy coupled with tenacity. Being organised, efficient and self-motivated is a necessity. As well as assisting with business development, a major part of the role is to take as much of the administrative parts of the Directors role away from them, including managing their email box and replying to routine emails.

Weekly Salesforce meetings contribution and participation:
- Support business development activities:
- Follow up on introductory emails and determine best approach to secure meetings with new contacts (calls, email etc)
- Regular review of existing contacts and follow up to schedule meetings
- Weekly review of BD activities with Director determine priorities and problem solve issues
- Maintain Salesforce data integrity – loading new opportunities into Salesforce
- Assist with Business Development campaigns (under guidance of Director)
- Brief Director on companies, contacts in preparation for meetings
- Monthly Salesforce stats report
Portfolio Management
The BDEA will support the administration around supporting the Director / Partner in the portfolio that each senior is leader is responsible for in their roles.
Systems Skills
- Proficient in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel, and an ability to learn additional software quickly. Whilst an advanced knowledge of MS Excel is not required, there is a need to be familiar with the software and able to format reports, making them more readable for others.
- Prior experience using Salesforce would be highly regarded.
