Senior Analyst / Junior Associate – Private Credit

This is an opportunity to shape the future of Partners Group’s European mid‑market direct lending strategy through the sourcing, due diligence and execution of investment opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Investment due diligence including review of diligence reports, interviewing industry experts and attending management meetings.
  • Financial analysis including detailed LBO modelling and scenario testing.
  • Preparation of investment memoranda and participation in Investment Committee discussions.
  • Portfolio management activities including monitoring of portfolio asset performance and assessing waiver and amendment requests.
  • Assist senior investment team members in building relationships with sponsors and other external parties.
  • What We Expect
  • 1–3 years of relevant work experience in a buyside investment role (private credit / private equity), debt advisory, management consulting, investment banking (leveraged finance, M&A) or transaction services.
  • A passion for and commitment to investing in mid‑market companies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to develop close relationships with industry participants over time.
  • Proficient in Excel, with demonstrated ability to build and develop LBO models.
  • Excellent academic record with Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top university or equivalent institution.
