We are seeking a high-performing intern to join our Liquid Credit Team in London for a 6–12 month internship commencing in April, with the opportunity for conversion to a full-time role based on performance. This is a front-office investment role within one of the world’s leading private markets firms, offering direct exposure to senior investors and live credit transactions across European Term Loan B and High Yield markets.

As an intern, you will work directly with senior credit analysts and portfolio managers across the full investment lifecycle. You will gain hands‑on exposure to underwriting, portfolio monitoring, and investment committee processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the underwriting of new investments in Term Loan Bs and High Yield bonds, primarily sponsor‑backed businesses
  • Build and maintain financial models to assess leverage, cash flow generation, and downside protection
  • Contribute to investment committee materials, including financial analysis and risk assessment
  • Monitor existing portfolio companies, including quarterly results analysis
  • Involvement in investment committee meetings, including minute taking
  • Assist with ad‑hoc analytical projects across the portfolio

This is a high‑responsibility role with meaningful exposure to live transactions.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Recent graduate from a top‑tier university
  • Strong academic track record
  • Prior internship experience in investment banking, leveraged finance, corporate finance, restructuring, or credit investing preferred
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams under time pressure
  • Self‑starter with strong ownership mentality
