What it\’s about

Investment analysis: Perform quantitative and qualitative due diligence on potential equity investments within the goods & products (consumer & industrials) vertical as buy-out opportunities.

Sourcing and thought leadership: Support the sourcing of opportunities in the buyout space and the work in chosen sub-segments of the goods and products vertical.

Value creation: Support management teams in identifying, developing, and executing value creation initiatives in our portfolio companies.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to pre-acquisition work-streams including market due diligence, financial and operational analysis.
  2. Support the development of thematic trends.
  3. Assist in industry research and analysis and preparation of internal investment committee documents.
  4. Work with portfolio company management and investment teams to assess the operational maturity of existing and potential portfolio companies in order to identify areas of improvement.
  5. Support senior team members on various tasks related to product reporting, investment monitoring, marketing, and other ad-hoc project work.

What we expect

  • Strong academic credentials in any of the following – Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience from either Private Equity firm or a leading management consulting firm or Investment Bank (goods and products focused) required. Operational/industry experience in the goods and products sector a strong plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication, able to engage and motivate others across all levels of seniority.
  • A self-directed person, able to manage effectively and complete tasks in demanding timelines and with competing priorities.
