As an Associate, in this position you will be part of the Private Credit Secondaries Investment Team in London. You will be joining a growing team at Partners Group in a fast-growing part of the market. Core responsibilities will include modelling, underwriting, and monitoring of new Credit Secondary investments amongst others to assist with developing and growing the Credit Secondaries strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with sourcing and underwriting credit secondary transactions
- Responsible for modelling of portfolio outcomes and pricing of individual investments in target products
- Preparation of investment memoranda for the Investment Committee process
- Come up with innovative solutions for sellers and/or GPs
- Relationship building and maintenance with credit managers and intermediaries
- Improvements and automation of credit secondaries modelling
- Creation of slides, reporting and analysis for internal and external stakeholders
What we expect:
- University degree, with emphasis on Finance, Economics, Mathematics or similar
- 2-5 years of professional work experience in private markets or investment banking, ideally with private credit / leveraged finance and / or secondaries experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to Partners Group's high standards of business conduct
- Understanding of the principles of private credit
- Proficient in Excel, with demonstrated ability to build and develop financial models
- Strong work ethic with a desire to learn and succeed
- Driven, with attention to detail
- Effective and reliable team player
- Candidates must have the right to work in the UK
