What it's aboutThe Investment Tax team oversees all tax aspects of Partners Group's investment activities across Europe and APAC.In this role, you will advise on complex international tax matters across multiple asset classes, working closely with investment professionals, senior business stakeholders and external advisors.Your responsibilities:Advise on the tax aspects of transactions across Private Equity, Infrastructure, Real Estate, Private Credit and RoyaltiesManage tax due diligence, structuring and exit planning for complex direct and fund investments across EuropeSupport the Head of Investment Tax and the wider team on strategic tax initiatives and monitor legislative developments across EuropeManage relationships with external tax advisors and oversee the quality and delivery of their workDevelop practical tax processes and frameworks across the investment platformWork with portfolio companies on tax-related value creation opportunities

We are looking for an experienced tax professional with strong technical skills, commercial judgement and a practical approach.
Your experience and qualifications:
8 to 12 years of relevant experience in a tax advisory firm, law firm or investment management environmentStrong expertise in European transaction tax mattersExperience with the taxation of investment funds and their investorsAbility to navigate complex situations, identify key issues and communicate clearly with both tax and non-tax stakeholdersStrong understanding of the legal, financial and commercial considerations that impact investment decisionsStrong academic background in Tax, Law, Finance, Economics or a related field, ideally complemented by a professional tax qualificationFluency in English; German is a plusWhat we offer
