Associate - Private Credit Investment in London

What it's aboutIn this position you will be part of the Private Credit Investment team, based out of London with a regional focus on the UK and Benelux markets. Responsibilities will span all aspects of direct lending investing, including sourcing, due diligence, execution and ongoing portfolio monitoringResponsibilities:Investment due diligence including review of diligence reports, interviewing industry experts and attending management meetings and site visitsFinancial analysis including detailed LBO modelling and scenario testingPreparation of investment memoranda and participation in Investment Committee discussionsPortfolio management activities including monitoring of portfolio asset performance and assessing waiver and amendment requestsAssist senior investment team members in building relationships with sponsors and other external parties, with an excellent opportunity to leverage and expand your professional network .newspaper { }What we expect 2-5 years of relevant work experience in a buyside investment role (private credit / private equity), debt advisory, management consulting, investment banking (leveraged finance, M&A) or transaction servicesPassion for investing in mid-market companiesExcellent interpersonal skills with ability to develop close relationships with UK and Benelux industry participants over timeProficient in Excel, with demonstrated ability to build and develop LBO models Excellent academic record with Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top UK university or equivalent institutionFluent oral and written English skills.
