We have an exciting opportunity for the role of Senior Service Leader within our Support Services Team. This newly defined role has been created to strengthen operational and strategic leadership across our organisation.
As a Senior Service Leader, you will provide day-to-day oversight across several teams, working closely with Service Leaders to ensure high-quality, person-led support. The role will focus on improving support to teams, enhancing outcomes for the people we support, and embedding a culture of accountability, inclusion, and compassion.
About the role:
- Provide coaching and mentoring to Service Leaders and Senior Support Practitioners.
- Support the delivery of safe, consistent, person-led services.
- Monitor team performance and compliance with organisational and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to support planning, staff development, and problem-solving within teams.
- Participate in the organisation’s on-call rota, offering advice and guidance during out-of-hours.
About You:
- A values-led practitioner with a strong understanding of personalised support.
- Confidence in mentoring, coaching others, building positive team cultures, and navigating complex situations.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
- Strong communication, organisational, and relational skills.
- Have membership with the PVG Scheme.
- Must be able to register with the SSSC within three months of employment.
- Have a SVQ 4 (or working towards), or a minimum of SVQ 3 with a commitment to complete SVQ 4 in Social Care/Management.
