Role Description

This is a full-time, remote role (with option to work in office locations, and with the need to travel dependant on work requirements) for a Business Engineer reporting into the Head of Tech & Change.
The Business Engineer will be responsible for:

• Support the design, planning and delivery of business change projects
• Develop consistent systems and processes to support best practice across the business
• Ensure that IT and broking applications/platforms remain fit for purpose
• Advocacy of broking applications optimisation
• Support on broking system migration projects, including configuration, mapping, documents, testing and training design and delivery
• Assist with data analysis for the business
• Assist development and maintenance of SQL data warehouse
• Promote and develop approaches for process and system improvements to continually enhance the colleague and client experience
• Support the design and delivery of training and communications on agreed projects
• Build and maintain strong relationships with third party suppliers on technical development of systems and telephony infrastructure

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills and Business Analysis experience
• Proficiency in understanding and developing Business Processes and gathering Business Requirements
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software
• Experience in the insurance industry is a plus
• Cert CII preferred but not essential
