Join Stromasys as a Field Engineer that will engage with customers, partners or professional services providers in software installation / system integration at client sites and remotely. The role requires long term commitment for migration and support of legacy workloads running on emulators. In this role, you will excel if you like to work with legacy systems, troubleshooting network and running virtual machines.
Requirements
- System administration and disaster recovery experience managing the following legacy OS environments:
- Mandatory: HP-UX, versions 11.x
- Would be a plus: HP-UX 10.x - 9.x
- OR Solaris, versions 5.10.x .. 5.11.4
- Would be a plus: legacy Solaris versions from SunOS4.0.4 to Solaris 5.9
Additional skills
- Proficiency with cloud architecture and key cloud operators
- Software/hardware migration projects experience
- Experience in system administration of the following:
- OpenVMS for VAX, Alpha, and Integrity, versions 4.5 - 8.4
- Tru64 UNIX, versions 3.x - 5.x
- HP MPE-ix, versions 6.0 - 7.5
