Role Overview
It is an exciting time to join the PHL Group team.
Our teams are ambitious and committed to delivering excellent services to those within our care.
We are recruiting Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACP) and Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANP) from a variety of professional backgrounds, including nurses, pharmacists and paramedics, who have a Masters level award or equivalent and are keen to take on an expanded role within Primary Care.
Responsibilities
- Assess the health and clinical needs of patients and undertake autonomous consultations.
- Use advanced clinical practice skills and clinical judgement to diagnose, treat, refer or discharge patients.
- Carry out comprehensive patient histories, physical examinations, and make prescribing or referral decisions in line with local pathways and protocols.
- Provide clinical advice and mentorship to junior clinical staff.
- Work face‑to‑face with a variable rota covering weekdays, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse, Paramedic or Pharmacist.
- Masters level award (or equivalent) in Advanced Clinical Practice.
- Clinical skills qualification at degree level.
- Evidence of completion of study in minor illness.
- Independent prescriber status.
- Evidence of study in minor injury, paediatric minor illness or paediatric minor injury (or willingness to develop these skills).
