We are seeking an experienced ADHD Specialist Practitioner with a minimum of 5 years post-registration experience, including at least 2 years conducting independent ADHD assessments and prescribing for ADHD, to join our growing Adult ADHD Service. This is an autonomous, clinically focused role where you will deliver high-quality, patient-centred care across the full ADHD pathway for adults aged 18+. Working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessment, diagnosis, pharmacological treatment, titration, and ongoing review, primarily through remote consultations. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a well-established NHS service that continues to expand and innovate in the delivery of adult ADHD care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive ADHD assessments and diagnostic evaluations for adults
- Initiate, titrate and review ADHD medication in line with NICE and local guidance
- Provide holistic, person-centred reviews, evaluating treatment effectiveness and safety
- Support patients throughout their ADHD journey with specialist advice and education
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and support Shared Care arrangements with Primary Care
- Identify safeguarding concerns, manage clinical risk, and refer to external agencies where appropriate
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and reports
- Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, and service development initiatives
