Partnering Health Limited has an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join the team based in Lymington Urgent Treatment Centre. You will join us on a full time or part time, permanent basis and you will receive a highly competitive salary.
About the General Practitioner role:
- As a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, the post holder will provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients’ requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management.
- They will also provide a highly specialist resource to other healthcare staff, patients and carers and have active involvement in Clinical Governance/ Effectiveness activities.
General Practitioner (GP) Skills & Experience:
- Provide appropriate medical leadership.
- Provide appropriate care and services to patients in all age ranges and level of health care needs.
- Maintain clinical records either written or computer based in line with professional code and requirements utilising appropriate READ coding and other coding systems.
- Liaise with all relevant agencies and services to promote knowledge and awareness of the Service.
- Provide appropriate health education and advice to patients and carers to enable self-management and choice.
- Work collaboratively with the Clinical Lead and the entire team to ensure that effective clinical governance is incorporated in the day-to-day practice in the Medical Service.
- Develop and maintain high levels of communication with patients and carers ensuring effective care delivery.
- Evidence of ability to maintain and monitor high standards of care.
- Evidence of ability to direct and co-ordinate programmes of care working autonomously and collaboratively.
General Practitioner (GP) Qualifications and Experience:
- An experienced doctor with GP accreditation.
- Current registration with GMC and NHS performers list (with no conditions preventing working or restrictions on practice).
- Experience of working in urgent care environment such as A&E, Walk in centres.
- Record of on-going CPD and learning.
- MRCGP examination or equivalent experience.
- Sound knowledge of clinical governance.
