Partnering Health Limited has an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join the team based in Lymington Urgent Treatment Centre. You will join us on a full time or part time, permanent basis and you will receive a highly competitive salary. Contract : Bank Weekend shifts only About the General Practitioner role: As a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, the post holder will provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients’ requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management. They will also provide a highly specialist resource to other healthcare staff, patients and carers and have active involvement in Clinical Governance/ Effectiveness activities. General Practitioner (GP) Skills & Experience: * Provide appropriate medical leadership * Provide appropriate care and services to patients in all age ranges and level of health care needs * Maintain clinical records either written or computer based in line with professional code and requirements utilising appropriate READ coding and other coding systems * Liaise with all relevant agencies and services to promote knowledge and awareness of the Service * Provide appropriate health education and advice to patients and carers to enable self-management and choice * Work collaboratively with the Clinical Lead and the entire team to ensure that effective clinical governance is incorporated in the day-to-day practice in the Medical Service * Develop and maintain high levels of communication with patients and carers ensuring effective care delivery * Evidence of ability to maintain and monitor high standards of care * Evidence of ability to direct and co-ordinate programmes of care working autonomously and collaboratively General Practitioner (GP) Qualifications and Experience: * An experienced doctor with GP accreditation * Current registration with GMC and NHS performers list (with no conditions preventing working or restrictions on practice) * Experience if working in urgent care environment such as A&E, Walk in centres * Record of on-going CPD and learning * MRCGP examination or equivalent experience * Sound knowledge of clinical governance Benefits * Bike2Work Scheme.
